Safety tips
Most people on DateGlow are here for the same reasons you are. These habits keep it that way.
Before you meet
- Keep the conversation on DateGlow until you feel sure. Block and report work there.
- Never send money, gift cards or crypto to someone you have not met. Report anyone who asks.
- Look for the Verified badge, and ask for a short video call if you are unsure.
When you meet
- Meet in a public place the first time, and tell a friend where you are going and when.
- Arrange your own way there and back.
- Stay in control of your drinks and your belongings. Leave whenever you want to.
If something is wrong
- If you are in danger, call the emergency number 112.
- Use Report on the profile, message or listing, or the report form. Reports about possible trafficking, coercion or anyone under 18 are reviewed first.
- Block the person: you disappear from each other everywhere on DateGlow at once.
Signs that an advert may not be genuine
- Someone else seems to speak or arrange things for the advertiser.
- The person seems afraid, not free to leave, or does not have their own phone or documents.
- The person looks younger than 18.
If you see any of these, please report it. You can stay anonymous.
